Formerly Friends of Tanzanian Schools

Focus on Tanzanian Communities partners with a diverse selection of communities across northern Tanzania, from remote villages beside the Serengeti to Arusha’s bustling outskirts, from the wide-open expanses of the Maasailands to the dense forests of the Ngorongoro Highlands. As most are located along Thomson Safaris travel routes, the communities often meet and interact with Thomson guests and give them firsthand glimpses of community needs and FoTZC-supported projects. We also have expert community liaisons, who have strong ties with community groups and leaders. What began with a single school near Arusha has expanded to four wide-ranging communities and countless schools and community groups. We can only hope to keep on reaching out to more.
