FoTZC supports community-driven sustainable projects in Tanzania that include direct collaboration between FoTZC and communities from beginning to end. Special focus is given to proposals that promote education and women’s empowerment. More generally, we also consider projects that help the communities overcome social and economic challenges outlined in the United Nations’ Millennium Development Goals. We hope that our efforts will assist these communities make long-lasting, transformative change. From the first school we began to support some 12 years ago to our latest venture with a Maasai women’s small business, the FoTZC journey is one that will continue to inspire communities and donors alike for years to come.
