Sangiti Secondary School is a Catholic private school in the city of Moshi, which lies near Mount Kilimanjaro. FoTZC began working with Sangiti via Growth Through Learning, a Massachusetts-based organization which provides scholarships to secondary school girls in Tanzania, Kenya, and Uganda. Growth Through Learning, which had more scholarship recipients at Sangiti than at any other school in East Africa, inspired FoTZC to build three classrooms at the school. Sangiti is a growing, well-organized institution that has started a tradition of academic excellence.
