Welcome to Focus on Tanzanian Communities (FoTZC). For 13 years as Friends of Tanzanian Schools, we have partnered with communities to provide critical resources for schools in Tanzania. With a new name and vision, we have recently expanded our mission to support sustainable projects that overcome many economic and social challenges.

All projects are community-driven and include direct collaboration between FoTZC and communities from beginning to end. Special focus is given to proposals that promote education and women’s empowerment. Projects are located near Thomson Safaris travel routes, which allows donors and guests to experience firsthand our outstanding partnerships with communities and our lasting impact.
