WHAT VILLAGE LEADERS SAY

We are proud of the great work FOTZC has supported in our ward and we value our connection with FOTZC. We truly are blessed to have received these projects that we have needed for years. Before FOTZC came to Oloipiri, support for education, health care, women’s economic empowerment and water was either weak or non-existent as compared to the rest of the country. That is why we are most appreciative of your continuing support in overcoming social challenges facing our communities in Oloipiri ward.
William Alais, Oloipiri Ward Councilor

We thank FOTZC for this health clinic, classrooms and women's empowerment program; it is because of all these, our lives standard is improved. If FOTZC were not here our lives would be so hard and unbearable.
Let Lettit, Village Chairman of Sukenya

Our daughters used to walk long distances to attend classes and in between most of them were tricked and got pregnant. That is why we decided to opt for a boarding school. Currently we have a very low number of girls quitting school because of pregnancy. FOTZC built us a water well, built teacher houses, a kitchen and classes at the primary school. The community development in our village is contributed by the government, NGO and villagers, however FOTZC pays lions' share.
On behalf of Robanda people I would like to thank you for your very kind support.
Kenyata Richard Masoka, board member of the Robanda Village Council and of the School Council.
